I Don't Know What to Put Here

Uhh. Hi? *waves awkwardly* I know. I haven't been around, and I know exams have been over for a week. And I know my Taiwan post seems to be still non-existent. *shrugs* I don't really see the point in blogging about Taiwan, actually. Cause... Well, it has been more than a month since it happened and my memory's fuzzy. Yes, you can pelt me with stones. Sorry.

But! I shall blog about what happened today. Mainly because I looked good today *evil laugh* And I went shopping! Which I didn't do all throughout exam season (3 #ASDFGHJKL WEEKS!!!). Today was a happy day :)

Okay. So I was sick throughout Thursday and Friday :( Had a random fever. Not, the happy kind. The infectious-virussy-kind. I woke up in the middle of the night and knocked on all my family member's door. Well, to tell them I'm sick of course. What? Don't laugh! I really really really was feeling weak and helpless. I spent the day sleeping and sweating. Hmm. Attractive.

So Saturday came and I was feeling better. So I agreed to go shopping! :) I needed to load up on books.

And... I dressed up :P Well I can't resist dressing up.

Oooh. I have sparkly eyes xD <-- syok sendiri mode. And I know that's a cool cap and top and bag. Hohohohoho. Jealous? 

We went to Times Square, then to Lot 10 (H&M) then finally tea at Ben's Kitchen. I am a pig. A very grateful one :)

Obviously, this post has nothing interesting and it is centered entirely on my extravagant lifestyle and a pretty photo xD Yeahh.

Oh, and my face seems sharp in that photo. I've lost weight cause of fever. But more on the 'losing weight' issue in the Majlis post, hmm?

I'm working on the Majlis Perpisahan Pengwas / Prefectorial Annual Dinner 2012 post, kay? Be patient.

You Want Us To Burn

So. Yeah. We just had Sejarah (History) Paper 3 yesterday. And I can tell you, it was no fun sitting for 3 hours straight and writing non-stop. Even if it was an open-book-test. Even if my friends did all the research for me. Our butts were all sore and our fingers were about to fall off. Seriously. Dhipa and Phuah wrote 10 pages. I only managed 8 and a half.

Hmm. Kay. Its in the past.

Why I really wanted to blog today was because of what our dear principal said during assembly a few days ago.

He was talking about some of the usual school stuff. I was half listening and half daydreaming. Then he said: 'Saya nak cakap sikit tentang masalah Facebook.' (I want to talk a little bit on the problem on Facebook) And all of the students were like, WUHH? Attention turned on. Full blast.

He went on to say (dang, I'll just translate right away instead of typing the Malay he said. Or did he even speak in Malay? Oh dear. I forgot.): 'Recently, there is a stupid student who went and scold the teacher bad words on the Facebook.' (He really did say the Facebook!) Instant rustles of discussion in the assembly hall.

'I will print out what the student said. And I will show it to his/her parents.' he said. Disbelieving faces all around. 'How can a student write something so bad and so rude about their teacher? The teacher scold you for your own good, somemore you can scold the teacher back so rudely? Not only you didn't learn your lesson, you increased your wrongs.'

Chittering from students, not believing what's happening.

'And.' He purposely accented that single word, to shut the students up 'It has over a hundred likes.' You can practically hear the students going WHOAAAAAAAAA in their minds. Probably jealous. 'The people who like this status are stupid people too. And some more, one of them is a Prefect. The name starts with a "K". I'm going to print out the names of the people who liked it, and I'm going to paste it in front of the school, so everyone can see what you all did.'

Instant uproar.

He then went on about to lecture us about protecting the schools reputation, and how students from other school can see this.

Well, I absolutely DISAGREE with what our dear principal is doing.

I mean, why does the SCHOOL wants to control our freedom on the Internet??

Isn't the Internet a free place, where people get to voice out their opinions? Where people get to connect with other people? Where people get to gain information? Where Teenagers let out their angst?

Why does the SCHOOL have to take it away?

I get that they are unhappy because their teacher got scolded for doing something right, but that doesn't mean you can take away our freedom of saying what we want on the Internet!

And I also understand that that student has issues with the teacher, but that doesn't mean that our school is filled with swearing teens waiting to shout profanities at teachers!

I beg you, SCHOOL, don't mess with Facebook, don't mess with the Internet.

And, another thing. Why do people, especially adults, like to control what we post online?

I got into trouble countless times because of my blog. Apparently people, especially adults, aren't really happy when I say my mind. And post happy pictures of me and my friends. They say being too honest is bad. So should I like, LIE? Should I fake all my posts? Fake all my smiles?

Just stop. Just stop it. Stop controlling us. Stop controlling me. I just wanna blog what I think. Why is it so hard for the world to take it? Its just me. Its just Noel. Its just a young and hopeless Angel. Why can't you guys just ACCEPT??

Teenagers. Are. Meant. To. Let. Out. Angst. 

Just be grateful, that we're not raping people, doing drugs, and doodling on the walls.

Hi. Please don't hate me. Its not like I gave you up or something. I didn't, okay? Its just that I am grounded from blogging (I also didn't know you could do that) and everything else that wastes my time from my studies. #IKnowRight So... Yeah. I'm here now. To prove to you guys (whom is probably just Arvie and some random people) that I am alive and well, I shall update on what's been going on around me these days.

If you're really really interested about my academics, well... I... *sigh* I didn't improve. Well, if you look at the marks, I did improve. But if you stop and think, I didn't improve at all. Because this is a Monthly Test, not SPM formatted like Mid-Terms. So, I didn't improve at all.

Obviously, I got 100% for English. We all did. Please excuse my snobbishness but the English test was seriously easy. All of my friends got 100%, even if they didn't it was just minor mistakes on the paper.

I almost failed my Add Maths again. Go figure. At least I didn't fail. I seriously don't understand why I cannot do the paper. Its not like I didn't study. Mr Tay, our headmaster/Add Maths teacher said it was only for ONE reason; LAZINESS. I don't deny that, I'm an absolute lazy person. But I did work hard, but just not enough. Arrrghhh. I hate this feeling.

But, on the other hand, I got 83% for my Physics paper! Doesn't sound much, right? But apparently its the highest in my class, 4 Daisi 2, and the class next to us too, 4 Daisi 1. I am super happy because I beat someone from the supposedly 'best' class in the whole Form 4. And that 'person' is a boy. But I'm unhappy form the reactions I got from some boys I was chatting with. Our conversation went something like this. It was mostly in Chinese, but whatever.

The Happy Heroine: Hey dudes! 
Sour Boy 1: Hey, got any of your test papers?
Sour Boy 2: She got her Physics paper. Highest in class you know?
Sour Boy 1: You gotta be lying! Show me show me!
The Happy Heroine: Uhh. Okay. *shows paper*
Sour Boy 1: Fuiyohh! 83? How you got these marks? You must've cheated!
The Happy Heroine: No?! My tuition teacher taught me some of the stuff that came out.
Sour Boy 2: Ohhh... Tuition teacher. No wonder lah. Obviously you're not that smart.
The Happy Heroine: *gives them the asian eyes -.-* Hello? I studied for Physics okay? Physics isn't that hard for me.
Sour Boy 1: How much did you get for Add Maths?
The Happy Heroine: Issh. I suck at Add Maths. I just only passed. 
Sour Boy 1: So how the heck can you get such high marks for Physics if you suck at Add Maths. Some more you're a girl. 
The Happy Heroine: *-.-* Add Maths has nothing to do with Physics okay. And a girl can rock at Physics too okay. 
Sour Boy 2: I bet you won't get highest for Physics in finals. You were just lucky this time. 
The Happy Heroine: *smiles and walks away*

I wasn't really pissed when it happened. But after I went home, I rethought the conversation and got super hurt and pissed at them. Those two boys are really b*tchy, seriously. Ughhhh. I will prove you wrong, sour boys!

Okay. I'm done ranting about my downhill academics. I shall post some happy photos we took before the sour boys incident happened.
